Take Me Home To My Charlottesville Real Estate

Sitting along the Blue Ridge Mountains, and just three hours drive from the Atlantic Ocean, the college town of Charlottesville Virginia has continually ranked as one of the most beautiful and safest places in America, a great place to set your roots down while young, or retire to in your later years.

In 2007 Charlottesville was ranked the #1 city in America by Frommer's guidebook, owing to its temperate climate, low unemployment and crime rate and top-notch health care services centered on the University of Virginia.

Other major rankings achievements for the small city include being hailed as the best small city in America, the second healthiest city in America to live in, the best city to do business in and the seventh best city in which to raise a family.

The city offers a wealth of outdoor activities and sports including golfing, mountain biking, skydiving, snowboarding and skiing, paintball, hiking, camping and kayaking.

As a college town the Charlottesville has both a bustling nightlife and an artistic bent, with trips to campus theatres, rock concerts, film festivals and orchestral performances being followed by trips to the local billiards club, dance hot spot or jazz hall. And is quickly becoming the music mecca of America.

Charlottesville and the surrounding area has a history dating back hundreds of years and contains many relics of this bygone age, including many historic battlefields that played major roles in the civil war. The city was spared the devastation that many other cities suffered during the civil war, allowing for the full preservation of many historic structures to this day

.

Charlottesville provides many great shopping opportunities with a multitude of malls, including the downtown mall which stands as the central shopping district in the city, featuring an indoor skating rink, numerous coffee houses, a theatre, bookstores contain college textbooks or rare musty tomes, and art galleries displaying the works of Charlottesville's established artisans or rising stars.

For students looking to attend the University of Virginia, be aware that student housing can only accommodate a small portion of the more than 18,000 students attending the U of Va. Many other housing opportunities abound though for rental or shared accommodation seekers, with more houses on the market both new and old, and more Charlottesville rentals available than ever.

Contact Toby Beavers, a savvy Charlottesville realtor to learn more of what's available on the market and the perfect time to make your move into the Charlottesville real estate market.

With Charlottesville Virginia real estate experiencing a buyer's market on par with much of the rest of the nation, there may never be a better time to take advantage and get a piece of Charlottesville real estate today.

Based on past trends, it's all but inevitable that once the stock market swings upward and the general economic picture in America improves, especially for those on the middle and lower end of the spectrums who have been hit the hardest, Charlottesville will be one of the first areas to revert back to a strong seller's market.

Whether looking to settle down in the great city of Charlottesville VA, or simply hoping to take advantage of this lull in the market for future gains, now is the time to buy up Charlottesville VA real estate.

Not familiar at all with Charlottesville Virginia but the pictures show it as a great place to live. There is also a Charlottesville in the Bahamas, on the western end of New Providence.

Great job at representing Charlottesville! I came here to visit in 1993 and ended up staying. The pictures are beautiful! You covered some of the things to do and see well too.
